Warehouses & distribution
Warehouse Flooring Systems in Toronto & the GTA
A warehouse floor takes forklift wheels, pallet drops and scrubber passes every shift. Hardbond installs polished concrete and epoxy systems built for that traffic, with joint repair and line striping in the same project, and schedules the work so your racking and shipping keep moving.
Zone by zone
Different floors for different parts of a warehouse
A distribution centre is several floors in one. We specify each zone for the traffic it actually gets. Read epoxy vs polished concrete for warehouses.
Racking & storage aisles
Polished concrete or a densified grind-and-seal: dust-free, bright and the lowest maintenance.
Forklift lanes & joints
High-build epoxy in the busiest lanes and semi-rigid joint filling so wheels stop chipping the edges.
Charging & maintenance
Chemical-resistant epoxy for battery acid, oil and hydraulic fluid.
Docks & walkways
Textured, slip-resistant finishes at docks, with line striping for lanes and pedestrian routes.
Polished concrete or epoxy?
The right floor for each part of the building
Polished concrete suits racking aisles and large dry areas: nothing to peel, dust-proof and the lowest maintenance cost. Epoxy suits charging, shipping and maintenance zones that need colour, marking or chemical resistance. Many facilities use both.
Grind & densify
Diamond grinding and a chemical hardener stop dusting at the source and harden the slab.
Joint repair
Control joints filled with semi-rigid polyurea so forklift wheels stop chipping the edges.
Line striping
Forklift lanes, pedestrian walkways, staging areas and hazard zones applied with the floor.
Live-site installs
Phased sections around racking, with night and weekend shifts so shipping keeps moving.
Live warehouses
Installed without stopping your shipping
We section the floor, work around racking and staged stock, and run night and weekend shifts so receiving and shipping keep moving. Polished areas can be walked on the same day; epoxy zones are scheduled around their cure time.
Every phase, start date and return-to-service time is in your written schedule before we start.

Questions
Before you call
Straight answers to what facility managers ask us most.
-
Commercial epoxy starts at $2.75 per sq ft and concrete polishing at $2.50 per sq ft, with standard surface preparation included. Final pricing depends on the system, slab condition and size of the area, and extensive repairs are quoted separately. Every quote is fixed and in writing after a free site assessment.
-
Yes. We phase large floors in sections and schedule nights and weekends so your team keeps working.
-
Grinding and densifying stops dusting at the source by hardening the top of the slab. A polished or coated finish then keeps it from coming back, and an auto-scrubber is all you need to clean it.
-
Yes. Forklift lanes, pedestrian walkways, staging areas and hazard zones can be applied with the floor system or on their own, in the colours your safety program uses.
