Polished concrete
Concrete Grinding & Polishing in Toronto
Polished concrete turns the slab you already have into a hard, dust-proof, low-maintenance floor. Hardbond grinds, densifies and polishes concrete for warehouses, retail, offices and industrial spaces across the GTA.
Polished concrete at a glance
Choose the look, then the shine
Two choices set the look and the price: how deep we grind and how high we polish. Pricing starts at $2.50 per sq ft; see the concrete polishing cost guide.
Cream finish
A light grind that keeps the smooth top layer of the slab. Lowest cost, uniform look; depends on a good slab.
Salt and pepper
A deeper grind that exposes fine aggregate across the floor for a speckled, durable look.
Full aggregate
The deepest grind, showing the stone in the slab. The most dramatic finish and the most grinding passes.
Matte to high gloss
Finished with a densifier and stain guard, from satin to mirror gloss, walkable the same day. Keep it shining with our maintenance guide.
How it works
From bare slab to polished floor
Finish levels run from matte to high gloss, with aggregate exposure from cream (no stone showing) to salt-and-pepper to full exposed aggregate. Walkable the same day.
01
Grind
Diamond tooling removes the worn surface, old coatings and imperfections.
02
Densify
A chemical hardener soaks in and makes the concrete harder and dust-proof.
03
Polish
Progressively finer diamonds bring the floor to the sheen you choose.
04
Guard
An optional stain guard adds spill resistance for retail and food areas.
Why polished concrete
The lowest-maintenance floor you can own
There is no coating to peel, chip or delaminate. Polished concrete cleans with an auto-scrubber, needs no waxing or stripping, and brightens the space by reflecting overhead light.
For racking aisles, distribution centres, retail floors and offices, it is usually the lowest cost over the life of the building.

Before you call
Straight answers to what facility managers ask us most.
-
Commercial epoxy starts at $2.75 per sq ft and concrete polishing at $2.50 per sq ft, with standard surface preparation included. Final pricing depends on the system, slab condition and size of the area, and extensive repairs are quoted separately. Every quote is fixed and in writing after a free site assessment.
-
Yes. We phase large floors in sections and schedule nights and weekends so your team keeps working.
-
Kept clean and dry, polished concrete meets typical slip-resistance needs for warehouses, retail and offices. For areas that stay wet or oily, we recommend a textured coating instead.
-
Most can. Heavily damaged, very soft or patched slabs may need repair first, or may suit a coating better. We check the slab during the free site assessment and tell you which way to go.

Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area, including Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan, Markham and Oakville. Larger projects elsewhere in Ontario are quoted case by case.
