Waterproofing
Balcony & Traffic Deck Waterproofing in Toronto
Water and road salt getting into concrete corrode rebar and lead to costly structural repairs. Hardbond installs polyurethane membranes and spray-applied polyurea on balconies, terraces, ramps and traffic-bearing decks, for property managers, condominiums and commercial owners.
Where we apply it
Decks that take weather and traffic
Freeze-thaw, salt and standing water wreck exposed concrete in Ontario. Each area needs its own build-up.
Condo balconies
Waterproof, slip-resistant membranes that protect the slab and the unit below.
Parking decks & ramps
Traffic-grade membranes that resist salt and tires. See parking garages.
Rooftop terraces
UV-stable topcoats that do not yellow or chalk in the sun. See polyaspartic.
Stairs & walkways
Textured, anti-slip finishes for wet entries, after concrete repair.
Systems
Seamless membranes that keep water out
Liquid-applied membranes form one continuous layer with no seams for water to find.
Polyurethane membranes
Flexible, crack-bridging membranes for balconies, terraces and podium decks.
Spray-applied polyurea
Very fast-cure, high-strength protection for ramps, decks and heavy-wear areas.
Traffic-bearing coatings
Wear and anti-slip layers that handle vehicles, salt and freeze-thaw cycles.
Concrete repair
Spalls and cracks repaired before the membrane goes down.
Property managers & condos
Phased around residents and tenants
We work balcony by balcony or level by level to keep buildings open. For parkades and decks, see parking garage coatings and concrete repair.
