Commercial Kitchen & Restaurant Flooring in Toronto
Kitchen floors take boiling water, grease, food acids, dropped pans and a washdown every night. Hardbond installs seamless urethane cement floors with integral cove base that stay slip-resistant, clean in one pass, and hold up to a health inspection.
Zone by zone
A kitchen floor built around service
Each part of a commercial kitchen fails differently. We specify for each one and schedule around your hours.
Cook line
Urethane cement for grease, hot oil, boiling water and dropped pans.
Dish pit & prep
Textured, slip-resistant finishes for constant water and mopping, sloped to drains.
Walk-ins
Cold-rated systems for coolers and freezers. See cold storage flooring.
Cove base everywhere
Integral cove base so floor-to-wall joints wipe clean and stay sealed.
What kitchen floors need
Built for heat, grease and washdowns
Quarry tile grout fails and traps bacteria. A seamless urethane floor removes the joints and stands up to the heat that cracks ordinary epoxy.
Seamless & coved
Cove base runs up the wall so there are no corners or grout lines to trap grease and bacteria.
Slip resistant
Textured finishes tuned for wet, greasy areas without being too rough to clean.
Heat resistant
Urethane cement handles boiling water, fryers and steam cleaning without cracking.
Drains & slopes
Floors sloped to drains and finished around equipment so water does not pool.
Minimal downtime
Done between services
We schedule kitchens around your hours, including overnight and closed-day installs, and use fast-curing urethane systems so you can reopen quickly.
Old tile is removed and the slab is repaired and sloped before the new floor goes down.

Yes. We phase large floors in sections and schedule nights and weekends so your team keeps working.
