Manufacturing & plants
Industrial Floor Coatings for Manufacturing Plants
Production floors take forklifts, dropped parts, oils, coolants and cleaning chemicals every shift. Hardbond installs high-build epoxy, chemical-resistant novolac and urethane cement systems for plants across the GTA, phased around your production schedule.
Zone by zone
Plant floors specified area by area
Production lines, maintenance shops and shipping each wear a floor differently, so each gets its own system and thickness in your proposal.
Production lines
High-build epoxy or urethane cement for impact, abrasion and dropped parts, with coloured zones for workflow.
Chemical & wash areas
Systems rated for your oils, coolants, acids and cleaners. See chemical-resistant flooring.
Static-sensitive rooms
ESD flooring for electronics assembly, controls and testing areas.
Safety marking
Aisles, hazard zones and machine guards marked with durable line striping.
What production floors need
Specified for the abuse your floor actually takes
We look at traffic, chemicals, temperature and cleaning before recommending a system, then put the thickness and cure schedule in writing.
Impact resistance
Thick, high-build systems that take dropped parts, pallet drops and steel wheels without chipping.
Chemical resistance
Novolac epoxy and urethane cement for acids, solvents, oils and caustic cleaners.
Safety marking
Slip-resistant textures, aisle lines, machine zones and hazard marking built into the coating.
Thermal shock
Urethane cement for hot washdowns, ovens and cold rooms that crack ordinary epoxy.
Installed around production
No full shutdown required
We section the plant, coat around fixed equipment, and schedule nights, weekends and planned shutdowns so lines keep running. Every phase and return-to-service time is in your written schedule before work starts.
Surface prep is diamond grinding or shot blasting, with oil-contaminated concrete cleaned and tested before coating.
